After-School Enrichment (ASE) at George Peabody Elementary is a robust, long-standing program run by parent volunteers. Classes are open to all Peabody students and scholarships are available to all who qualify. Our onsite manager provides supervision for all children enrolled in ASE.
This semester there are 25 classes offered across all grades. Vendors that we partner with include Academic Chess, Blue Bear Music, Code Fu, Creative Canopy, the Culinary Dude, East West Tennis, Education Outside, Engineering for Kids, Head Over Heels SF, It's Yoga Kids, the New Conservatory Theater, Tree Frog Treks and Wee Scotty, as well as some amazing parents.
ASE rules recommend that parents limit enrollment as follows: K = 1 ASE class per week, 1st & 2nd = 2 ASE classes per week, 3rd = no more than 3 ASE classes per week, 4th & 5th may enroll in up to 5 ASE classes.
Registration begins at 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 10th and ends at noon on Friday, January 18th, 2019. Classes begin Tuesday, January 22nd and end on Friday, May 24th, 2019. Space is limited, so don't wait to sign up.
NO CLASSES SCHEDULED: Monday, January 21: MLK Jr. Day; Tuesday, February 5: Lunar New Year; February 18: Presidents’ Day; March 4-8: Parent Teacher Conference week; March 25-29: Spring Break.
